Hotels: Discount Las Vegas Hotel Reservations

Different travel websites often offer specials to Las Vegas. Some are weekend getaways that include airfare where you fly in on Friday and leave Sunday. Some of the packages take place during the weekdays and those are usually the best bargains. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are generally the slow days in Las Vegas for hotels if there are no conventions going on. Holidays are extremely busy in Las Vegas and rates tend to be much higher on those days.
It really makes a difference if you go to a website like Vegas.com, or Orbitz.com, just to name a couple, to make your Las Vegas reservation. Travel websites often get the best rates because the hotels dont pay to advertise there, but give the websites a percentage when rooms are reserved through them. There are literally thousands of hotel rooms, motel rooms, and condos to choose from on any given day.
Some people dont like to stay in the big noisy hotels or shabby motels. They prefer a more relaxed, homey atmosphere. There are some great condos all around Las Vegas and the rates can be quite reasonable. Many of the condo complexes are on golf courses and have excellent pool and exercise facilities. I have seen one-bedroom condos advertised for as little as $99 a night.
Travel Packages
Hotels and airlines often join together with great packages designed to stimulate business during slow times. Sometimes you can get airfare and a hotel room for nearly the price of a room. From Los Angeles, where I live, there are some excellent deals. McCarran International Airport has direct flights to most U.S. major cities, and many international cities.
